The timers of the traffic signal lights installed near V. V. Mohalla Police Station need to be re-set. By the time the last few vehicles move from Yadavagiri side towards Vontikoppal side and reach the junction of Gokulam road and Temple road, the signal from Gokulam side would have turned to green.

This causes utter chaos since motorists from both the sides are following traffic signals.

The situation turns worse, when some impatient motorists from Gokulam side jumps the traffic signal just before the signal turns to green.

We have a Traffic Police Station right at this junction and the staff who daily witness the chaos caused by the short timing of the signal, have conveniently turned a blind eye to this issue.

Like any other staff of other Traffic Police Stations in Mysuru, the staff of V.V. Mohalla Traffic Police Station are also busy in apprehending ‘helmet-less’ riders and not bothered about the genuine woes faced by the motorists.
