Rice pulling scam: One nabbed in city

Mysore/Mysuru:  Udayagiri Police have arrested a person on charges of trying to cheat innocent people through social media by luring people to become rich through rice pulling device. The arrested has been identified as Rayan, a resident of Ghousianagar in city.

Rayan, in a bid to attract people to earn crores of rupees, had posted videos about rice pulling on social media platforms.

Udayagiri Police, who had registered a suo moto case, took custody of Rayan based on the information available on social media and interrogated him, during which the Police came to know that he posted videos to lure innocent people to the scam and no one had fallen to his scam yet.

He was later arrested for trying to cheat innocent people.
