Mysuru: A bike rider was injured when a speeding car rammed into the bike at Mudukuthore Circle in T. Bettahalli, T. Narasipur taluk.

The injured bike rider is M. Nataraju, a resident of T. Bettahalli.

According to the complaint lodged by M. Krishna, brother of Nataraju at Talakad Police Station, Nataraju, after dropping his brother to the bus stand on Aug. 15 morning, was proceeding on his bike (KA-09-ET-8290) towards T. Bettahalli, when a speeding car (KA-42-M-6460) proceeding towards Talakad side rammed into the bike resulting in Nataraju suffering fracture on his left leg. But the driver of the car, who stopped the car at a distance for sometime sped away. The driver of the car left the vehicle at Talakad Police Station in the evening and left.

Nataraju was rushed to a private hospital in Mysuru where he underwent a surgery. 

A complaint was registered by Krishna on Aug. 17 at Talakad Police Station. Talakad Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
