Rider killed after crashing into KSRTC bus

Mysore/Mysuru: A two-wheeler rider, who had sustained serious head injuries after he rammed into a KSRTC bus from behind and admitted to K.R. Hospital, has succumbed to injuries at the hospital.

The accident took place near Bandipalya on Nanjangud Road yesterday and the deceased has been identified as Raghavendra (43), a resident of Kesare here and a tiles worker by profession.

Raghavendra was proceeding towards Nanjangud on his bike (KA-09-EQ-3611) at about 8 am and rammed the bike into a KSRTC bus from behind near the under construction flyover, opposite to Bandipalya, resulting in him sustaining serious injuries.

Though he was rushed to K.R. Hospital, Raghavendra succumbed to injuries.

Krishnaraja (KR) Traffic Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
