Puttaswamy (79), retired Excise Department Deputy Commissioner and a resident of Siddarthanagar, passed away yesterday in city.

He leaves behind his wife, three sons, daughters-in-law and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at his native place Maadrahalli village in T. Narsipur taluk this afternoon.
