S. Vishwanathan (82), who served in the Indian Army for 21 years and later joined RMP (BARC), passed away last even-ing due to age-related issues.

A resident of Vidyaranyapuram, he leaves behind his wife, children, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held this afternoon at the foot of Chamundi Hill, according to family sources.
