Secures All-India Rank 1 in ICAR’s Junior Research Fellowship Exam

Mysuru: S. Bhanu Kumar, a young scholar from Mysuru, has secured the All-India Rank 1 in the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) Exam-2024 conducted by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) in the field of Food Science Technology.

The JRF Exam is a prestigious National-level Competition that attracts thousands of aspirants from across the country.

An alumnus of Learners PU College, Mysuru, Bhanu Kumar completed his B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture in University of Agricultural Sciences GKVK, Bengaluru.He is the son of Sidde Gowda, a security guard at Infosys and Nagarathna,  residents of Lokanayaka Nagar in city.

Speaking to Star of Mysore, he said, “I would like to dedicate this achievement to all the students who, like me, come from humble backgrounds. With hard work, determination, consistency and the right support, you can achieve success. I would like to thank my family, teachers and mentors for their guidance and encouragement.”
