Mysuru: “Doctors are not responsible for the current issues in health care sector,” opined Dr. S. Paramashivamurthy, ADGP (Crime and Technical Services), Bengaluru.
Speaking after inaugurating the MAA Utsav-2019 organised by Mysore Medical College Alumni Association at the MMC&RI Platinum Jubilee Hall in J.K. Grounds here recently, he said, “Health care sector needs better administration and it would be better if doctors themselves lead the sector.”
On the occasion, senior doctors Dr. T. Balakrishna Achar, Dr. N.K. Bhagavan, Dr. S. Chandrashekar Shetty, Dr. Brij Mohan Kumar, Dr. Devakumar Indra, Dr. P.L. Gangadhar, Dr. Kalaboraiah, Dr. Keerthikumar, Dr. Kamalamma, Dr. K. Nagaraju, Dr. N.D. Mukunda, Dr. B.N. Prakash, Dr. Pandurangegowda, Dr. Pramila, Dr. M. Pashupathi, Dr. T.A. Ramanujachar, Dr. T.M. Shankar, Dr. P. Suresh, Dr. P.K. Uthappa and Dr. K.M. Srinivasamurthy were felicitated.
Later, cultural programmes were held and doctors enthralled the gathering by singing Kannada and Hindi movie songs.
