‘Special’ drama performance

January 5, 2026

A unique drama performance by children with special needs will be held at Mini Theatre in Kalamandira premises tomorrow (Jan. 6) at 6 pm.

This is a first-of-its-kind English drama, highlighting the children’s talent, confidence and self-expression and proving that ability goes beyond disability.

The drama has been carefully guided by Padha Trust, an organisation working for children with special needs, along with Dhyan Vidya Samshitha teachers and directed by Praveen Belli, an alumnus of Rangayana.

Their encouragement and inclusive approach will help the children perform confidently on stage. The event aims to promote inclusion, awareness and equal opportunities through the performing arts.
