Spiritual training can be a stress buster for Government employees: Swamiji

August 10, 2025

Mysuru, Aug. 10 (SPN&DM)- Kengeri Vishwa Vokkaligara Mutt Seer Dr. Sri Nischalanandanatha Swamiiji said that spiritual training will help Government employees to come out of stress and strains of their daily work.

He was speaking at the Raksha Bandhan celebrations organised at Gyan Prakash Bhavan of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya in Yadavagiri here yesterday. Noting that Government servants often work under pressure, he said that spiritual training largely helps them in relieving their stress and strains of daily work.

“Government servants should not maintain a time frame for doing works of the poor and deprived sections of the society. Quick clearance of files will prevent farmers and other members of the public to walk to the public offices regularly to get their work done,” the Seer said.

Bemoaning the declining morality and accountability in the society, where everyone yearns for amassing wealth either by hook or crook, that can be enough for generations of their family, the Seer observed that it is a dangerous tendency which will cause great harm to the society in the days to come.

He recalled how Rajyogini BK Lakshmiji had helped him visit Mount Abu a number of times, in his earlier days (Poorvashrama).

Brahma Kumaris Mysuru Sub-Zone Chief Convenor BK Lakshmiji too spoke and tied ‘Rakhi’ to the Swamiji.

Dr. Sri Nischalanandanatha Swamiiji was honoured by Brahma Kumaris on the occasion.

M.R. Ramachandra, BK Ranganath, retired Professor Vasanthkumar and others were present during the celebrations.
