Sr. Genevieve Violet, former Provincial of Carmelite Sisters of St. Teresa, CSST – Karnataka Province, passed away in Bengaluru yesterday. She had also served as the Principal of Mount Carmel College, Bangalore from 1990 – 2000, Secretary of the Karnataka Regional Commission for Education, Assistant Coordinator of Karnataka PMI and Mysore diocesan PMI Coordinator.

Funeral was held at Mount Carmel College Chapel at Vasanthnagar, Bengaluru , this afternoon.
