The Assessment Test for Classes 5 and 8 of Karnataka State Board will commence from Mar. 27 across the State. A few days ago, the Karnataka High Court had permitted the State Government to conduct Assessment Test for children in Classes 5 and 8 who are following the State Board syllabus. The Assessment Test will be conducted by Karnataka State Evaluation and Assessment Board (KSEAB) and the purpose of the Assessment Test is to evaluate and assess the level of learning of students.
While the Assessment Test for Class 5 will be held from Mar. 27 to 30, that for Class 8 will be conducted from Mar. 27 to Apr. 1. Only questions from textbooks will be given in the Assessment Test. The students will not be detained and will be promoted to the next Class, according to a press release issued by the Office of the DDPI, Mysuru.
