In keeping with the assurance of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to ASHA workers, the State Government on Friday hiked the honorarium of ASHA workers by Rs. 1,000 a month. The Under-Secretary of the Health and Family Welfare Department has issued an order in this regard. The order said that the monthly honorarium of ASHA workers has been hiked as announced in the State budget. Meanwhile, the Government has also hiked the monthly honorarium of other health workers by Rs. 1,500.
