Mysore/Mysuru: Two students, riding a two-wheeler in a rash and negligent manner, rammed into a car and assaulted a doctor for questioning them. The incident took place on the Ring Road junction near Bogadi yesterday afternoon.

The doctor, who was assaulted, is Dr. Guruprasad, a resident of Telephone Layout near Bogadi. The doctor was proceeding from SBM Layout side when the students, riding the bike in a haphazard manner, rammed into the car from behind at about 2.30 pm.

The doctor, who got down from the car questioned the students as to why they were giving problems to other motorists and asked them to ride the bike slowly. Irked over this, the two students assaulted Dr. Guruprasad , according to the complaint.

The doctor also informed the Police that the students behaved in an indecent manner, abused him and sped away besides stating that the students belonged to a prestigious college and he would identify them if they are brought before him. Saraswathipuram Police, who have received the complaint, are trying to trace the students. No case has been registered, the Police said.
