Mysore/Mysuru: Ganabharathi, Mysuru, has organised Veena concert by Vidu. Yogavandana tomorrow (Aug. 18) at 6 pm in memory of Swaramurthy V. N. Rao at Veene Seshanna Bhavana, Kuvempunagar in city.

She will be accompanied by Vid. G. S. Ramanujan  on mridanga and Vid. V. S. Ramesh on ghata.

Profile: Vidu. Yogavandana is a student of the well-known Veena player Keerthishesha V. S. Anantha Rao. She is an A grade artiste in Akashavani.

She is well-known for her unique style of Veena recital. She has performed at various prestigious stages all over the world. Vidushi Yogavandana has received Shyamashastry Sangeetharatna Award and holds a Master’s in Biology and a Diploma in Music. She has performed in the cities of Malaysia, China, Dubai, Denmark and won the highest honours.
