Garbage such as used paper plates and leftover food, which is dumped on the either side of the road behind the Gurudwar in Brindavan Extension is not cleared resulting in foul smell emanating from it. Authorities concerned are urged to get the garbage cleared at the earliest.

Krishnaiah (84), retd. Tahsildar (Mandya Sugar Factory) and a resident of Brindavan Extension, passed away this morning. He leaves behind his wife Padmamma, three sons, two daughters, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at Chirashantidhama in   Gokulam today.
