Kumaraswamy on Saturday called Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and requested him to expedite the approval for Mekedatu project, which is aimed at constructing a balancing reservoir across River Cauvery at Mekedatu close to Tamil Nadu border near Kanakapura in Ramanagaram district….
