Maneyamma (95), wife of late Malavalli Gurubasavaiah and a resident of Hale Kesare, passed away yesterday in city. She leaves behind five sons including folk artiste Gururaju, three daughters and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at Ganesh Nagar Burial Grounds this afternoon.

Madivalara Puttabasava (Puttanna) of Belavadi village in Mysuru passed away yesterday. He was 73. He leaves behind his wife Shantamma, son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. Last rites were held today.
