Prof. B.V. Mariyappa (90), a retired Professor and a resident of Jayalakshmipuram, passed away yesterday in city. A relative of former MLC Tontadarya, he leaves behind a host of relatives and friends. Cremation took place at the Hootagalli Electric Crematorium this morning.

Kamalamma (54), a resident of Paduvarahalli here, passed away yesterday in city. She leaves behind her husband Govinda Swamy, two sons, a daughter and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at Chirashantidhama in Gokulam this noon, according to family sources.

Audrey de Rozario (76), a resident of Mahadeshwara Extension in Vijayanagar, passed away yesterday at her residence in city. She leaves behind her children and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral was held at the Catholic Cemetery on Mahadevapura Road in Gandhinagar this evening.

M. Eshwar (Dada), well known Tabala player and a resident of Kailaspuram in Mandi Mohalla, passed away yesterday in city. He was 73. He leaves behind his wife, two sons and two daughters. Last rites were performed at Jodi Tenginamara Burial Grounds in Bannimantap this afternoon.

T. Nagaraju, retired Superintendent of the Accounts Department of Mysore University and a resident of Saraswathipuram, passed away yesterday in city. He leaves behind his wife and  one daughter. Last rites were performed at K.G. Koppal Burial Grounds this morning.

Dhanalakshmi (55), wife of former Nerale Gram Panchayat (GP) Member Narayanaswamy and a resident of Hinkal, passed away yesterday following brief illness. She leaves behind her husband, two sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at the family’s farm land in Nerale village, Nanjangud taluk here this morning.

Lakshmikumar Tatachar (84), a resident of Krishnamurthypuram here passed away yesterday morning in city. He leaves behind his wife, a son, a daughter, six brothers including Srivatsa, a BJP leader, three sisters and a host of relatives   and friends.
