Mysuru: The 2018 edition of the popular “Talents” Inter-School cultural competition organised by Mysore Round Table-21 (MRT-21) and Mysore Ladies Circle-9 (MLC-9) will be held on Jan.20 at Mysore West Lions Sevaniketan School in Gokulam from 9.30 am.
The competition provides a platform for students to present their talent and interests on stage as well as interact and exchange ideas with students from other participating schools. The theme for the competition this year is “Every Drop Counts — Conserve water our most precious resource.” All acts and performances will have to be based on the importance and need to find ways in which to optimise the usage of water and conserve for future generations. Talents-2018 is an opportunity for both teachers and students to interact and work together to empower children and educate the future generation on the importance and significance of protecting our most precious resource — Water.
The competition is open to students from 5th to 10th standards. Each team should have a minimum of 8 students and a maximum of 20 per school. The competition categories will include group and solo performances in song, dance, skit and musical instruments.
