Mysuru: The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, GSSS Institute of Engineering & Technology for Women (GSSSIETW), had organised 4th National-level Technical Competition ‘TECHNO SPECTRUM-2019’ in association with CSI, Mysuru Chapter, recently.
The event provided a platform for innovative thinking, present original work, share and exchange ideas with professionals and academicians. It included Google Hunt, Project Innovation Idea, Web Design, Predict the Output, Blind Coding, Technical Quiz and Pictionary.
The event was inaugurated by Ravindra Patil, Senior Scientist, Healthcare Solutions, Research India, Philips Innovation Campus, Bengaluru. In his inaugural speech, Patil shared his experiences and knowledge gained in the industry and spoke about perseverance and resiliency that is the need of the hour for a successful career.
Y.S. Supreeth, Co-Founder and CEO, Tequed Labs, Bengaluru was the guest of honour. Vanaja B. Pandit, Hon. Secretary, GSSS, Dr. M. Shivakumar, Principal, GSSSIETW and Dr. S. Meenakshi Sundaram, Head, Department of Computer Science & Engineering were present.
Techno Spectrum witnessed a total of 122 participants from all over the State including Mysuru and 200 GSSSIETW students taking part in seven major events.
