Toccata Musical Productions, United Kingdom, along with Bangalore Children’s Chorous and guest artiste Frank Konie, will be presenting a musical event in aid of CSI Holdsworth Memorial Hospital, popularly known as Mission Hospital, which is a charitable and self-sustaining hospital in Mysuru, today (Feb. 18) evening at the Open Air Theatre, Manasagangothri, from 7 pm.
The troupe will render songs sung by Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, Sir Elton John, Queen and songs from music bands Abba and Eagles, among others. The event will raise funds for the hospital’s new Operation Theatre (OT) complex, which will be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 3 crore.
Mission Hospital needs a new OT complex as the existing one, built in 1907, is small and not full-fledged to cater to the needs of ever-increasing patients.
Toccata Musical Productions has already donated medical equipment worth Rs. 2 crore to the hospital and the money raised from the musical evening today would be utilised for infrastructure up-gradation at the hospital. Tickets for the musical evening are priced at Rs. 1,000, Rs. 500 and Rs. 200 and the tickets are available at www.bookmyshow.com
