Two-day sports meet for journalists from July 24

Mysuru District Journalists Association (MDJA) has organised a two-day Annual Sports Meet for journalists and their family on July 24 and 25 at University of Mysore (UoM) Sports Pavilion. The sports meet will be inaugurated on July 24 at 8 am by National Athlete M.R. Dhanusha. Federation of Organisations and Associations of Mysuru (FOAM) President B.S. Prashanth and UoM Physical Education Director Krishnaiah will be chief guests.

Prize distribution for the winners will be held at 4 pm. Mysuru Superintendent of Police (SP) R. Chethan and Mysuru Hotel Owners Association President C. Narayanagowda will be the chief guests. 

 July 25: Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) Commissioner G.T. Dinesh Kumar will inaugurate the Shuttle Badminton and Cricket tournaments at 8 am.

The valedictory programme will take place at 4 pm on the same day. City Police Commissioner Dr. Chandragupta will be the chief guest.  MDJA President S.T. Ravikumar will preside on both days, according to a press release.
