Mysore/Mysuru: Skanray, India’s largest medical device manufacturer and exporter, will be conducting a two-year free ‘Post Graduate Certified Training in Product Engineering’ at its facility in Hebbal here to help students from Mysuru and surrounding areas. Interested candidates may apply. 

Eligibility: BE (Mech, E&E, E&C, Biomedical, Computer Science) candidates with 70 percent aggregate of all semesters.

• Candidates who have chosen their mother-tongue as medium of primary education, rural candidates and children of unorganised sector labourers, street vendors, petty shop, auto drivers etc., with 60 percent can also apply.

• Students must have passed out in 2019-2020 or 2020-2021.

• Candidates already employed need to submit NoC from their current employer.

Course content: This course is based on actual product projects including Design, Manufacturing, Quality,Testing, Regulatory, Reliability, Customer Service and Business training through a mix of practical work and classroom training handled by experienced faculty.

Benefits: Candidates will get a monthly stipend/living expenses of Rs. 15,000 per month in the first year and Rs.18,000 per month in the second year.

Also, non-encashable benefits of upto Rs. 5,000 per month will be provided to needy candidates in the form of hostel, food and transportation facilities. Outstanding students will be placed in Skanray.
