Mysuru, Oct. 20 (SPN,RK& BCT)- The V.V. Mohalla Traffic Police Station observed a Complainants/ Victims Day dedicated to grievance redressal for victims and complainants.
Under the leadership of PSI Mohan, the event saw participation from over 25 individuals who received updates on the status of their complaints and guidance on the next steps in the legal process.
In cases involving accident-related fatalities, affected complainants were provided with detailed information regarding the investigation and legal proceedings.
Officers from V.V. Puram Traffic Police Station were also present to assist during the event.
Meanwhile, KR Police Station officials conducted a routine patrol and area domination exercise across key roads and isolated zones within their jurisdiction.
The operation aimed to curb criminal activity by inspecting suspicious individuals and vehicles, and registering cases under COTPA (Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act). The initiative was intended to instil a sense of safety among the public.
In the wake of Kumbarakoppal Sri Mahadeshwara Swamy Jatra Mahotsav, scheduled to be held from Oct. 21 to 23, the Police held a meeting of residents yesterday to assure their safety.
