Vasantharaj Urs (88), retired Principal of Hunsur Government Boys Junior College, passed away on Mar. 28 at a private hospital in Mysuru.

He leaves behind his wife, two sons, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at his farm land in Bettadatunga village, Periyapatna taluk on Mar. 29, according to family sources.
