Mysore/Mysuru: As part of Music for Wellness, Raaga Music Academy, Mysuru, has organised its 93rd music concert by Vidu. Krithika Sreenivasan at Sri Bidaram Krishnappanavara Prasanna Seetharama Mandira on Narayana Shastry Road in city on July 15 at 6 pm.

She will be accompanied by Vidu. Pruthvi Bhaskar on violin, Vidu. Deepikaa Sreenivasan on mridanga and Vidu. Sumana Chandrashekhar on ghata.

Vidu. Krithika is an Engineering Graduate, a Karnatak musician, Writer, Music Educator and Education Manager at the Indian Music Experience Museum, India’s first interactive music museum.

Currently receiving advanced training from Vidwan Chitravina Ravikiran and Vidwan Anoor Ananthakrishna Sharma, she has imbibed the best of the abilities of both her Gurus.

She has amassed a vast repertoire of compositions and compositional forms. Some of her unique contributions are: an audiobook version of her book Alpaayushi Mahan Sadhakaru, that chronicles the life and achievements of various musicians and composers, who died young, Kannada Kavya Kamanabillu, an encyclopedic project which is a tripartite series, that envisions the coming together of Kannada classical poetry and music onto the Karnatak music platform.
