Mysore/Mysuru: Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, NIE Institute of Technology (NIE-IT), Mysuru, had organised a webinar on ‘Challenges and Opportunities in Indian Defence’ on June 24. 

Resource person for the event was Captain Bindu Nair, Veteran from Indian Army’s Corps of Engineers, who is passionate about saving environment and believes in co-existence. 

She shared her experience in Indian Defence and the challenges, benefits and opportunities it provides.

Calling upon youngsters to fulfil all their professional expectations by choosing a career of challenges, excitement, adventure as an officer in different fields of Defence, she briefed about the opportunities for Electronics & Communication (EC) engineers to upgrade the Defence standards and equipment. She also gave a call to youths to join Defence and serve the nation.

NIE-IT Principal Dr. Bansilal presided. ECE Department Head Salila Hegde, staff and students of different branches were present on the occasion.
