Hunsur: A woman, who was working in an agricultural field, died of snake bite at Unduvadi village in the taluk yesterday afternoon.

The deceased woman is Susheelamma (52). She was bitten by a venomous snake while working in the agri field and died on the spot.

Bilikere Police, who reached the spot, conducted mahazar, registered a case and shifted the body to Hunsur General Hospital, where post-mortem was conducted and the body was handed over to the family members.
