Mysuru: A woman, suspecting that her grandson’s friend had allegedly stolen her gold chain which was kept in the almirah before she left for a hospital, has lodged a complaint with Hebbal Police in this regard. According to the complaint, the woman, identified as Rathnamma, a resident of Hebbal, was going out of the house to go to a hospital for a health check-up when her grandson Sharath’s friend Nithin came to the house asking for Sharath.
When Rathnamma told Nithin that Sharath was not in the house and come back later. But Nithin is said to have told Rathnamma that he wanted to speak to Sharath urgently and would wait for him besides asking Rathnamma to proceed to the hospital.
Rathnamma, then left for the hospital and when she returned after some time, Nithin was shocked to see her and left the house in a hurry. Suspecting something fishy, she checked the almirah only to find the 28 grams gold chain missing. Suspecting that Nithin may have stolen the gold chain, Rathnamma has lodged a complaint with Hebbal Police urging them to conduct an enquiry on Nithin.
