St. Joseph’s Central School, Vijayanagar, a unit of Mysore Diocesan Educational Society (MDES), has organised Zeal English Literary Fest on Nov. 11 at its campus.  Rev. Fr. Vijay Kumar, Secretary, MDES, along with Rev. Fr. Avinash, Administrator, MDES and Joyce Lobo, CEO, St. Joseph’s Institutions, Mysuru, will inaugurate the fest at 9.30 am.

Various schools from Mysuru are taking part in this Inter-School English Literary Competitions for Middle and High School students which includes Recitation, Hat-nite Debate, English Literary Quiz and Character Representation. Valedictory will be held on the same day along with prize distribution. The competitions are held to inculcate love for literature, appreciate and encourage reading habit among students, according to a press release.
