Nagamangala Police have arrested two persons, Doodamuniya and his brother Chikkamuniya, said to be members of Dandupalya gang who were involved in burglaries of houses in Bellur and Nagamangala during 1981-84. Chethan (47), rice merchant and a resident of Housing Board, passed away here yesterday following a cardiac arrest. He leaves behind his wife, two children, parents, sister  and a host of relatives and friends. As per Chethan’s wish, his eyes were donated. Last rites were performed at the town later in the day.
