Mysore/Mysuru: The Mysuru District Administration has revised the night curfew hours in the wake of a spike in the number of COVID-19 cases. In city, from Friday, July 3, there will be no public movement from 6 pm every day.
The administration has revised the timings of the night curfew in consultation with Mysuru District Minister S.T. Somashekar. The Minister held a meeting with District authorities at the new DC Office this morning.
According to the new order, the night curfew will remain from 6 pm to 5 am, instead of the earlier 8 pm to 5 am timing. Those who do not wear masks and ignore social distancing norms will be fined Rs. 200 in Mysuru City Corporation limits and Rs. 100 in rural parts.
A request from govt. Officials please block inter state movement for public, only goods vehicle, private transport vehicles with goods should be allowed. Automatically covid-19 spread will be stopped. Less hours of work means people gather or rush, curfew is not all required
Dear sir, Buses coming from Bangalore to Mysore upto 9 pm.
There is one train coming from Bangalore reaches Mysore at 9 pm.
What should these people do if there is curfew after 6 pm?
Do you allow taxi or auto after 6 pm ?? Be strict in everything.
If there is curfew, how can one go to Medical stores even if it is opened ??
Political leaders like the Gowdas and Yeddi the Cheddi CM , religious seers, ministers were all allowed to congregate in groups for one reason or the other, assuming that the Corona Virus has gone away. It has not and is spreading and causing deaths NOW, because the Virus is juston an increasing curve and has yet to reach the peak. Your PM prattled, that other countries were worse, even though he knew unlike India, whichno foreigner wants to visit, countries like US and those in Europe, receive hundreds of thousands of visitors. India and Mysuru has to endure this type of lockdowns and curfews for many more months to come.
The guy sitting next to the DC is brazenly keeping his mask on the table and not wearing the same. However he is obviously talking about people wearing masks, observing physical distancing etc, etc. Are these clowns above the law ??? Why should only common citizens be penalised & these political clowns let off?? Let them lead by example.
@Sridhar
That guy you mention , you could gather by his arrogant look that he is the district minister. He is above the law in your independent India! They lead by example? You must be living in another country, not India, as in India, the ministers and “Kaavi” clad seers are above the law. The rules for ordinary Indian citizens. So, your PM Modi’s Mann Ki Baat, about being careful in these days of Corona virus spread is just a waste of time, and delusion on his part. Better, if he had talked about how to prepare: ‘Kesari Baat and Bisi Bele Baat!
@Hey Covid-19!! You refer to Modi as “your PM Modi” ? So, who is YOUR PM? Rahul Gandhi? Or Xi Jin Ping? May be you dont like Baat but Pasta or Bat cockroach soup!
@Sridhar Your President will be Xi Jinping soon. He will make you drink cockroach soup then..
If I said: ” Your PM”, dimwits like you should know the meaning of it.
You are ruled by the political clowns. Not me. Tough luck,. Best to swallow it hard.
Indian hotels and restaurants are filthy and unhygienic . one visit to their kitchens will prove this. These hotels and restaurants bribe the health inspectors who come to check them. They give them cleanliness certificate. One visit to these kitchens, will find you in the midst of crawling cockroaches and rats running to hide. It is not uncommon to find cockroaches floating in rasam and sambar, which the chefs simply remove.
Hence, Sridhar, you already had the cockroach soup!
Hey Covid-19!! You Dumb ASSHOLE – STOP DREAMING ABOUT RULED BY JIN PING, if you are ignorant to the extent that ‘Your PM ‘ means, you should not be commenting here you stupid ASSHOLE’ When you say your PM that means you have a different PM unless you are a citizen of other country like Pak! English must be very hard for you!
Hello Sridhar
I am assuming that you are an Indian citizen and live in India.
I also understand your frustrations. The reality is either you have Modi at the Centre or Gandhis at the Centre. Either you have Yeddi ruling Karnataka or Siddu ruling Karnataka. In either case at the centre or in the state, there is always one set of rules for the political leaders and another for citizens like you. Independence has really changed nothing. Simply Congress or the BJP replaced the English men. The same district administration like the DC , Divisional Commissioner etc,.. now with IAS officers , instead of the English ICS officers.
The elder generation who have lived in pre-independence say, that tomatoes did not cost Rs 50 or even Rs 20 per Kg then, Mysuru was a small Royal city, which was tranquil. Wadiyars ruled through Dewans, who were excellent.
Times have changed for the worse, it appears. The political class today is rich, has special rules and can ignore common people.
