Central and State Governments have worked effectively for containing Coronavirus: Raghu Kautilya

Mysore/Mysuru: Maintaining that both the Central and State Governments have been working effectively for tackling the deadly COVID-19 pandemic, State BJP Co-Spokesperson Raghu Kautilya said that the party should take the digital route to organise the party in these trying times of COVID-19 lockdown.

He was addressing the digital rally organised by the party’s Chamundeshwarinagar Unit.

Pointing out that the BJP has come to power in the State for the second time, Raghu Kautilya said that Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa is doing a commendable job by introducing various schemes and initiatives.

Observing that it is the responsibility of every party worker to take the programmes of                                                             the Union and State Governments to the doorsteps of the people, he said that the State and Central Governments have been effectively tackling the COVID-19 pandemic.

Thanking Prime Minister Narendra Modi for announcing Rs.20 lakh crore package for economic stimulus, Raghu welcomed the State Government’s initiative for providing relief to Madivala, Savita Samaja and such other micro communities. 

He further said that Chief  Minister Yediyurappa has come to the rescue of the working class by announcing a special package for them.

He commmended the BJP Chamundeshwarinagar Unit  for distributing  more than 3,500 ration kits, 40,000 food packets, free medicines and food to migrant workers and financial assistance to the poor  and the needy during the COVID-19 lockdown.

Local party leaders H.G. Rajamani, Eeregowda, Rakesh Bhat, Girish, Shasikanth, Nagaraj, Shubhashree, Sujith Stephen, Hemanth and others  were present.
