Mysore/Mysuru: The newly formed Mysuru Zilla Dance Choreographers and Dancers Association will be inaugurated in the city on Sept. 6.
Announcing a press meet at Patrakarthara Bhavan here this morning, Association President Chamaraj said that former MLA M.K. Somashekar will inaugurate the newly formed association at 5.30 pm on Sept. 6 at Hotel Kalyani on Hebbal Ring road (Near Bharath Cancer Hospital) with MUDA Chairman H.V. Rajeev as the Guest of Honour.
Pointing out that the Association which was registered nearly two months ago has 185 members including 45 women members at present, he said that the association, having office at Gollarageri in Chamaraja Mohalla, has been formed for coming to the aid of choreographers and dancers, who are facing a lot of difficulties due to the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.
