Eid ul Fitr to be celebrated tomorrow

Mysore/Mysuru: As moon was not sighted yesterday, the Mysore District Moon Committee, which held a meeting at the Office of District Wakf Advisory Committee on Sayyaji Rao Road in city last evening  under the Chairmanship Sir Khazi of Mysuru Hazarath Moulana Mohammed Usman Shariff, decided to continue Ramzan fasting today and celebrate the festival (Eid ul Fitr) tomorrow.

Moulana Mohammed Zaka Ulla Siddiqi read the resolution passed in the meeting. Sir Khazi greeted the Ulemas present and Muslim brethren of city. Chairman of Mysore District Wakf Advisory Committee Azeez Ulla Ajju has requested Muslim brethren to celebrate Eid peacefully.

Moulana Mufthi  Syed Tajuddin, Moulana Shah Vali Ulla Umri, Moulana Ibrahim, former Corporator Naseeruddin Babu, Mohamed Mumtaz Ahmed, Amjad Pasha, Jameel Ahmed Ashrafi, Mirza Jamsheed Baig Ashrafi, Radiulla Khan and Wakf Officer Mushtaq Ahmed were present.

Eid prayer timings – 7 am: Nimrah Ground in Rajivnagar; 7.30 am: Masjid Khair-ul-Wara at Rajivnagar 2nd Stage; 8 am: Masjid Moula Hussain at Satyanagar, Masjid Omer Khan Durani on B.N. Street, Masjid Cutchi Meamoon on Ashoka Road and Masjid Farooqia at Kesare; 9 am: Eidgah Maidan at Tilaknagar, Masjid-e-Syed Ahmed at S.A. Layout in Rajivnagar, Masjid-e-Hazarath Mir Hayath on K.T.Street, Masjid Ajju (Shafi) at Kesare, Masjid Khatoon-e-Jannath at Kesare, Masjid Kousar and Firdose Masjid at Bannimantap C-Layout; 9.30 am: Masjid-e-Azam on Ashoka Road, Masjid Mecca at Rajivnagar, Masjid Munawara at R.S. Naidu Nagar, Masjid Quba at Udayagiri, Masjid-Ya-Allah, near Govt. Guest House and Masjid Rehamaniya at Chamaraja Mohalla; 10 am: Masjid Rehamaniya, near Silk Factory, Masjid Dargahi, Sawday Road, Masjid Showdul Badar One Minaret, Shanthinagar, Masjid Nawab Saheb Zeenath-ul-Masajid, 100 Feet Road, Masjid Aqsa, near Fountain Circle, Madeena Masjid, Kyathamaranahalli, Masjid Khadriya, Nanjumalige, Masjid Khairunnisa, Kesare, Mohammadi Masjid, Rajivnagar, Masjid-e-Ya Rasoolullah, Rajivnagar 1st Stage and Masjid-e-Mushayeqeen at Rajivnagar; 10.30 am: Eidgah Maidan, Ghousianagar and Masjid Feel Khana at Fort Mohalla; 11 am: Jamiya Masjid on Irwin Road.
