Mysore/Mysuru: In order to examine irregularities in the sinking of borewells in the farm lands of beneficiaries belonging to SC, ST, Backward Classes and Minority community under Ganga Kalyana Scheme between 2015-2020, the Karnataka Legislative Council’s Special House Committee will be visiting Mysuru on Jan. 4.
The beneficiaries may submit their demands and complaints, if any, to the Committee.
From 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm, the Committee will conduct spot inspection near borewells in the farmers’ land; From 3 pm to 4.30 pm, a meeting will be conducted at Mysuru Zilla Panchayat auditorium along with Deputy Commissioner, people’s representatives, ZP CEO, Managing Directors of various Boards, General Managers and the concerned District and Taluk- level Department Officers. Ganga Kalyana Special House Committee Chairman Dr. Y.A. Narayanaswamy, Committee members Basavaraja Patil Itagi, S. Ravi, M.P. Sunil Subramani, Nirani Hanumanthappa Rudrappa, M.A. Gopalaswamy, Kantharaju, B.M. Farooq and K. Pratap Simha Nayak will be present on the occasion, according to a press release.
