Mysuru: The Graduation Ceremony of 5th batch of Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and 6th batch of Post Graduate Programme for Executives (PGPX) of MYRA School of Business was held on June 29, at its premises in Yelwal.
A batch of 32 students along with their family members attended the ceremony. The cohort which is a diverse group from more than eight States of the country and a gender ratio of 1:4 have found placements in top banking, IT, consulting and reality firms in the country.
Chief guest M.D. Ranganath, Additional Independent Director, HDFC Bank, in his Graduation Day address shared the ten guiding principles which he observed and adopted in his illustrious career. His mantra was — believe in yourself, resilience, open minded, move out of comfort zone, no short cuts to success, career is a marathon and not a sprint, live in the present, money is not everything, usage of digital technology and have fun.
Kantharaj Urs, Managing Trustee, Mysore Royal Academy, addressing the students said, “At MYRA, you learnt the core values of life, which is integrity, excellence, efficiency and engagement. I would urge you to practice this with humility and stay disciplined. This would certainly make you a Myracle for life and help you contribute to the society.”
MYRAcles Rohit Bhattacharjee, Arvind Sastry and Sindhu Priya made it to the Dean’s list and Rohit Bhattacharjee being the topper made it to the honour board, according to a press release from MYRA.
