Mysuru: The Fine Arts College of the University of Mysore (UoM), one of the oldest and most prestigious cultural institutions in the region, is set to celebrate its 60th anniversary in a grand manner.
As part of the celebrations, the College is hosting a special fusion concert featuring internationally acclaimed musicians from around the world. This extraordinary musical event will take place on Jan. 11 at 11 am at the College Auditorium.
The fusion concert promises to be a unique and unforgettable experience, bringing together top musicians representing diverse musical traditions and genres. Audiences will be treated to a mesmerising performance featuring an eclectic mix of instruments, including violin, contrabass, western flute, mridanga, piano, Turkish percussion, Indian percussion, drums and bass.

Dr. Mysore Manjunath – Internationally celebrated violinist and maestro of Indian classical music from Mysuru.
Ned McGowan – A master of the western flute and global fusion from Netherlands.
Sumanth Manjunath – A rising star in the world of Indian classical violin and global fusion (Mysuru).
Pramath Kiran – A versatile percussionist known for his contributions to Indian and world music.
Tumkur Ravishankar – A mridanga virtuoso adding the rhythmic heart to the ensemble.
Federica Colangelo – Acclaimed Piano virtuoso from Italy.
Sjahin Duringr – A renowned Turkish percussionist whose rhythms transcend boundaries.
