Mysuru: The students of the Department of Telecommunication Engineering (TCE), GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women (GSSSIETW), have bagged the three best paper awards, during the 3rd National Conference on Electronics, Signals and Communication (NCESC)-2018.
The NCESC was organised by the Departments of Electronics and Communication Engineering and Telecommunication Engineering, in association with IEEE, Bangalore Section and International Journal of Engineering Research and Technology, recently. Inaugurating the Conference, Gururaj Deshpande, Chief Operating Officer, EDGE/NIA Products, EdgeVerve Systems, lauded the initiative taken by GSSSIETW for the benefit of research personnel across the India to present their work in the conference.
The students of TCE eighth semester S. Asha, D. Nisarga, J. Prarthana and S, Ganasri received Best Paper Award for the paper titled “Real time Automated System to Recognize label Print Quality and Correctness using RASBPERRY PI,” under the guidance of Dr. B.D. Parameshachari, Head, Dept. of TCE.
Another batch of TCE eighth semester H.S. Rajashree, B. Sahana, S. Surabhi and T. N. Appoorva received Best Paper Award for the paper titled “Indoor Localization using BLE Technology, under the guidance of Dr. B.D. Parameshachari, Head, Dept. of TCE.
The third batch of TCE eighth semester S.T. Yogitha, R. Veena and B.L. Yashika received Best Paper Award for the paper titled “Compressor Air Pressure monitoring System Through Aurdinuo Board” under the guidance of R. Avikumar, Assistant Professor, Department of TCE.
GSSSIET Principal Dr. M. Shivakumar presided.
Organising Chairs Dr. M.V. Sathyanarayana, Professor and Head, Dept. of ECE, and Dr. B.D. Parameshachari, Professor and Head, Dept. of TCE, briefed about the NCESC-2018.
