Mysore/Mysuru: NIE Institute of Technology (NIE-IT), Koorgalli, will host its 11th Annual Inter-Collegiate cultural fest IgNIEIT-PunarvasU 2022 this evening. It provides a platform for youths to showcase their talents and to challenge themselves with the best.
IgNIEIT-PunarvasU 2022 will be inaugurated by chief guest Dr. Mahesh M. Shenoy, Managing Trustee, Kamakshi Hospital, along with guest of honour Addanda C. Cariappa, Director, Rangayana and Special Invitee Dr. Akkai Padmashali, Social and political activist, today at 5 pm.
The function will be presided over by Dr. R. Datta Kumar, Hon. Treasurer, NIE-MC. Dr. N.V. Archana, Principal NIE-IT, will be present.
Cultural evening will be inaugurated by film actor Nikhil Kumaraswamy at 6.30 pm today in NIE-IT campus.
Many other cultural and entertaining events like fashion show, theatrics, dance, music, literary, arts, fine arts and sports were conducted for three days from June 15 to 17 to showcase the talents of students from various institutions in and around Mysuru. Traditional performances such as Veeragase, Dollu Kunitha and Pooja Kunitha were performed by renowned artistes of Karnataka on June 16.
