With reference to payment of property tax, I would like to share my experience at MCC Zonal Office in Sharadadevinagar. On Sept.22, I visited the Office at 10 am with a photocopy of last year’s tax paid receipt. I was rightly directed to a very right staff. 

He looked into my receipt, offered a seat, may be looking at my grey hair, and was working with the computer. After some time, he told me that PID is yet to be created for my property, so whether it would be possible for me to come in the afternoon. I readily accepted. 

He noted my phone number and said he would call me once it is ready.  In no time at 12.20 pm I got a call from him asking me to come to office and pay the tax. He was even good enough to say that the Bank is open only till 1.30 pm. 

Immediately I rushed, stood in the queue which was short, in spite of maintaining social distance and paid the tax. Hope, the same attitude will be shown by all the staff towards all the tax-payers. Once again, kudos to MCC-Sharadadevinagar staff.
