Mysuru: Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha has appealed the Railway Minister to name the proposed Mysuru-Hubbali train via Bengaluru, after Rulers who have contributed a lot to Kannada land and language.
Pratap Simha, who met Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu at New Delhi recently, to discuss the introduction of the new train, has now written a letter to the Minister, appealing him to name the train as Nandi or Kadamba or Wadiyar Express.
Meanwhile, it is learnt that the new train is likely to run from May 23.
Launch of this train missed the deadline of May 13th . when enquired about the possible launch date , even the railway officials dont know.
This train is still a MIRAGE. also the timing needs to be look into . the proposed timing in the long run is not feasible. it will strain the existing chamundi express departing schedule.
when will there be justice/end to this apathy of railway towards passengers?
Sir, train name can be siddarudha experess
Dear Sir. because of introducing this train, the daily passenger to arsikere which leaves bangalore at 6 ; 20 PM is getting delayed everyday by hours together. The arsikere passenger is boon to tumkur commmuters. There are approximately 15000 passengers traavel between tumkur and bangalore for work everyday.. After long hours of work when they arrive at the station for reaching home , the train is delayed,. not in minutes . in hours. A person suppose to reach home by 8 PM is reaching after 9 PM only. So request you to consider this and resolve this issue
