Mysore/Mysuru: Mysore Astronomical Society (MAS) has been started very recently to spread awareness about Astronomy, Astrophysics, Cosmology and Observational Astronomy. The main objective of this Society is to promote astronomical aspects, sky watching and various other activities pertaining to Astronomy. 

Basically a non-profit Society, MAS will help people to understand astronomical phenomena, occurrences, sky events and many more. Academicians, students, industry professionals, entrepreneurs, Astronomy connoisseurs and enthusiasts are involved in MAS. 

This Society has planned to organise Webinar, Invited Talks, Workshops, Sky Watching sessions, Telescope Making Activity, Visit to Observatories, Planetarium and so on.
