New Delhi: Nirmala Sitharaman, who earlier held the independent charge of the commerce and industry Ministry, has become the first independent woman Defence Minister of India after Indira Gandhi.
It is for the first time in 35 years, that the crucial ministry has been given to a woman minister. Before this, then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi held the portfolio till 1982.

SBI CPPC Trivandrum says that since three years(!) they have sent reminders to CPDA Allahabad for a certificate regarding my husband’s PPO and Years of service(asking for “Type written Proof” of my husband’s PPO

and years of Service) and I am drawing pension from the Central Govt, through SBI,(Marine Drive Kochi ) wide this PPO/Years of service!!! 23+ years) I have sent Copy of PPO and Yrs of service to the CPPC (scanned copy) from the DAV and Pension Adalat to CPPC TVm in Feb 17. Now CPPC wants proof of PPO and service, for my pending Pension arrears/OROP/7th PPC.,
I have been writing mails, fighting for my dues, for 3 years. Please help me in this hour i am 76 year old widow, if not now then when.??
