Mysore/Mysuru: The Office of State Guarantee Schemes Implementation Monitoring Authority, established in the MCC Main Office on New Sayyaji Rao Road, was inaugurated by Chamaraja MLA K. Harishgowda here yesterday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that with the setting up of the office, the office-bearers of the Monitoring Committee at the MCC-level took charge. Pointing out that there are 31,000 women beneficiaries of ‘Gruha Lakshmi Scheme,’ which is one of the Five guarantee schemes, in Chamaraja Constituency, he said that the scheme will be extended to cover all eligible beneficiaries.
Noting that the Committee will work towards ensuring delivery of Guarantee schemes to all beneficiaries, he appealed the well-to-do to voluntarily opt out of the schemes.
The Committee Chairperson Pushpavalli, who is also a former Deputy Mayor, Vice-Chairman R. Girish, members M.N. Mahadev, Susheela Marigowda and J. Vinay took charge of their post.
