Venkataswamy (Manti), a resident of Lal Band Street in the town, passed away yesterday afternoon following a heart attack. He was 75. He leaves behind his wife, three sons, one daughter, daughters-in-law and grandchildren. Last rites were performed in the town this afternoon.

S. Sureshkumar (55), a Second Division Assistant (SDA) at District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Vasanth Mahal, in Nazarbad, passed away on Feb. 20 in city. He leaves behind his wife Vanitha and daughters Kavana and Kadambari. Last rites were held in city.

Chandru alias Paduvarahalli Tailor Chandru (60), a resident of Kalidasa Road in V.V. Mohalla, passed away on Tuesday evening in city. He leaves behind his wife Nirmala and three daughters. Last rites were performed at Chirashantidhama in Gokulam on Wednesday.

K. Nanjashetty (85), retired Tracer at KERS and a resident of Krishnaraja Sagar (KRS), passed away this morning at his residence. He leaves behind his wife, children including RTI activist B.N. Nagendra and grandchildren. Last rites were performed at the burial grounds on the banks of River Cauvery in KRS this afternoon.
