Mysore/Mysuru: The ‘Karnataka State Police Run-2026’ will start from Mysore Palace premises with the slogan ‘Our Police, Our Pride’ on Mar. 1 at 6 am.

Those entering from Jayamarthanda Gate can park their vehicles at Doddakere Maidan and those entering from Varaha Gate can park at Varaha Gate parking lot. Participants are requested to park their vehicles at the above parking lots.

Entry towards Balarama Gate and Jayarama Gate on foot and by vehicles has been restricted.

5-km marathon route: Start at Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple – K.R. Circle  –  D. Devaraj Urs Road – JLB Junction – Left Turn – MUDA Junction – Ramaswamy Circle – Left Turn – Chamaraja Double Road – Thathaiah Circle – Gun House Circle – Hardinge Circle – Left Turn – Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple – End.

10-km marathon route: Start at Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple – K.R. Circle – D. Devaraj Urs Road- JLB Junction – Metropole Circle – Left Turn – Hunsur Road – Kalamandira Junction – Paduvarahalli Junction – Left Turn – Open Air Theatre Road – Senate Bhavan Junction – Right Turn – Clock Tower Road – Kuvempu Statue Junction – Left Turn – Bogadi Road – VMD Junction – Padma Circle – Right Turn – Fire Brigade Junction – Left Turn – Ekalavya Circle – Ramaswamy Circle – Chamaraja Double Road – Thataiah Circle – Gun House Circle – Hardinge Circle – Left Turn – Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple – End.

Competitions will be held in two categories — Civilians (including students) and Police — for both female and male.

In 10-km run, 1st three place winners will be awarded Rs. 10,000, Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 3,000 respectively and for 5-km, 1st three place winners will get Rs. 5,000, Rs. 3,000 and Rs. 2,000. Certificates and medals will be distributed with cash prizes.
