Mysuru: With just five days to go for the polls, sitting MP and BJP candidate from Mysuru-Kodagu LS seat Pratap Simha held a brisk campaign in several areas of K.R. Assembly segment in the city this morning.
Pratap Simha who addressed public gatherings at different places coming under the Assembly segment, went in a rally from Manuvana Park in Srirampura and travelled through BEML Layout, Devayyanahundi, Srirampura Naidu Store, Aravind Nagar Depot Circle, Vivekananda Circle, Kuvempunagar and Sharadadevinagar, before reaching Kamakshi Hospital in the afternoon.
Enroute his campaign Pratap Simha highlighted his achievements as an MP., which included establishment of a satellite railway station at Naganahalli, on Mysuru-Bengaluru section, modernisation and extension of city railway station, introduction of 6 new / extension of trains from Bengaluru to Mysuru, development of Chamundi Hills under the centre’s PRASAD scheme and promotion of industrial clusters, among others.
Simha also lashed out at CLP leader and former CM Siddharamaiah, saying that the Congress leader had done little for Mysuru’s overall development when he was the CM.
KR MLA S.A. Ramdas, City BJP President Dr. B.H. Manjunath, Corporators B.V. Manjunath, Ramesh, Sunanda Palanetira and other BJP leaders were present.
