Mysore/Mysuru: Rangasena, the first local Hindi Theatre Group of Mysuru, will be presenting their second Hindi play ‘Sipahi Ki Maa’ at Mini Theatre in Kalamandira premises on Friday (Jan. 7) at 5.30 pm and 7 pm (two shows), on the occasion of 97th birth anniversary of Hindi Playwright and Critic Mohan Rakesh.

The play is written by Mohan Rakesh, a famous author of early 20th century and is directed by Shukprit Singh.

Written during the World War II, the play is about a mother and daughter who are affected since the son is out in Burma for war. It also showcases the plight of the refugees from Burma.
